Eating your own dog food
You may have heard the adage before that it is always good to sample your own cooking or as the title suggests - eat your own dog food.  What those phrases mean to say is that you can and should always stand behind whatever product you output - be it a pot of spaghetti or linear live video encoders.
What a year (and it's only August)
This has been quite a year for Inlet Technologies. We've had numerous significant customer wins all over the globe (and as the marketing director I wish I could talk about all of them), we've seen tremendous adoption of adaptive bitrate streaming (a technology we embraced early on) and we continue to reap the rewards of strong ecosystem partners like Apple, Microsoft and Akamai.
CEO Blog: Way Beyond Three Screens
I really enjoyed reading this recent column in Advertising Age about how the world has gone beyond three screens (TV, PC, mobile) to six.

The online video world has changed so fast over the past few years that it seems like a blur.
Behind the Scenes at MLB
I just read this great Harvard Business Review overview of Major League Baseball’s online streaming services, and I’m proud to remind you that Inlet is still behind the scenes at MLBAM, providing their critical media-prep infrastructure for both live and on-demand online video and audio.

Inlet, iPhone4 & WWDC
Unless you live in a cave somewhere or choose to isolate yourself from the media blitz that has surrounded the event - you are aware that Apple has delivered a new mobile handset to the masses.  iPhone 4 is here.  And Inlet Technologies has been working with Apple since well before the launch to ensure that our customers are able to leverage all the fantastic capability this device unleashes.
From the CEO: A Significant Award for Inlet
Last Thursday was a proud day for Inlet Technologies, as we were selected as a Red Herring 100 North America winner for 2010. Red Herring is a media company that covers innovation, technology, financing and entrepreneurial activity, and every year they recognize the 100 privately held young companies in North America that they believe are the most promising.
Sizzle - summer's here
Perhaps it is the 100 degree-plus heat that arrived all too soon, or maybe the buzz that seems to ebb and flow in this crazy technology space - but summer is here.  Long gone are the days when summertime meant a slow down in activity - school breaks, swimming pools and backyard fun.  Now, it seems summertime is the period of time when we prepare for the remainder of the year, looking to the calendar to determine when and how we will meet all these new commitments.
NAB is almost here!
As director of marketing here at Inlet, I have been living, sleeping and breathing NAB for the last three months, and I'm very excited that it's almost here.

We've got a great booth this year in a fantastic location (SL929--right near our partners, Microsoft and Akamai), and we'll have a lot to talk about.
Ready on day one
A new day arrives Saturday, April 3rd.  This is the day tech geeks and average Joes alike have been talking about, speculating on, and waiting in anticipation for.  For on April 3rd, a new platform will emerge to change the way we watch, read, hell - even touch media.

April 3rd is Day One for the iPadTM
Get the story straight
Information is power.  You've heard the adage before.  But bad information is just as powerful, and often times, has more impact than the truth.  But to use another adage - the truth will set you free.
